Principles are the foundation of any legal system’s ability to meet the demands of the era, and the monotheistic legal system is no exception to this rule. Amid the dominance of materialistic approaches to contemporary human rights theory, the monotheistic perspective on human rights is not only necessary but also constitutes a mission. This study aims to address the questions surrounding the main research issue: the nature of human rights, their causes, and how they are applied based on the monotheistic principles of human rights and the analysis of their impacts. The philosophy and primary function of monotheistic principles lie in aligning human rights with the demands of the era according to the principles of “monotheism, resurrection, wisdom, justice, and truth-centeredness.” These principles make belief in God, orientation toward the hereafter, purposefulness in creation, fair evaluation of rights and duties, and monotheistic rationality prevalent in all dimensions and aspects of individual, social, political, cultural, and economic human rights. The impacts of monotheistic principles include: a deep sense of connection to God in both creation and legislation, recognition of God’s right as the source of human rights, the immortality of human essence, human dignity, realism, understanding objective truths, and the possibility of accessing them in legislation and promoting human rights. These impacts are either unknown or overlooked by proponents of materialistic approaches.
